By the grace of God, we are privileged to offer exceptional Catholic school ministry throughout central and southern Indiana. Our Catholic schools integrate the Catholic faith throughout rigorous academic programs while sacraments, prayer, and service are foundational ways that we live our mission and Catholic identity every day. With 69 Catholic schools serving nearly 23,000 students, the Archdiocese of Indianapolis ranks in the top 20 of Catholic dioceses throughout the country. Since 1834, Catholic schools in the archdiocese have been called to help form hundreds of thousands of young people, preparing them for eternal and earthly life.

Bishop Simon Bruté College Seminary

Priesthood is more than a career—it is a sacred calling, a life of self-giving service rooted in love for Christ and His Church. For those discerning this vocation, the journey begins with formation: a deep and intentional process that prepares the whole person—spiritually, intellectually, pastorally, and humanly—to serve God’s people faithfully. At Bishop Simon Bruté College Seminary, we are honored to walk with young men as they answer this call and begin their preparation for a lifetime of priestly ministry.

BECOME A 2027 AMBASSADOR


MISSION: Strengthen the Catholic a with personal and heartfelt invitations to join in the celebration of the 2026 Legacy Gala!
Legacy Gala Ambassadors are needed from each deanery, ideally each parish.  Ambassadors have attended the Legacy Gala or will be attending the 2026 Legacy Gala and will execute the following goals:  
  • Help promote attendance at the event via word of mouth, sharing posts on social media and forwarding event emails.
  • Share event information and personal notes with friends inviting them to join them at the event.
  • Arranging/gathering items for auction baskets that is from your local area of the Archdiocese. 
  • Asking their pastor and parish office:  “Have you added the Legacy Gala bulletin ad to your bulletin? Can I speak about the Legacy Gala at Masses?”
