The best type of contribution is the one that meets your goals and objectives while supporting the needs of our vital ministries.

We invite you to explore the giving options below and choose the gift type that best fits your needs. You can also learn more about our giving societies, which recognize donors based on both the frequency and advanced giving amounts of their contributions.

Some donors also find tax advantages in making gifts of stock or IRA rollovers. Learn more below.

Preferred Ways to Give

Each donor has a preferred way in which they give. Some prefer to make a single, one-time gift today, others prefer to plan for a gift in the future, and some want to establish an ongoing contribution.

MAKE A RECURRING GIFT

Recurring gifts continue at the same amount and monthly frequency from year to year, until you change or cancel them. A recurring gift allows you to notify the archdiocese that you are interested in a long-term commitment that supports the ministries so important to our faith.

MAKE A
ONE-TIME GIFT

A one-time gift is a single transaction. You select a gift amount and proceed with a payment online today.

MAKE A
NEW PLEDGE

A pledge is a gift that you commit to today and schedule payments to fulfill. Gift amounts are dependent on the amount of your pledge and number of payments you plan to make (payment options are in increments of 1–12 months.) With a pledge you are committing to a gift in the future that has a specific end date.

MAKE A
PLEDGE PAYMENT

A pledge payment is a payment made towards a pledge that has already been established, often by turning in a completed pledge card. Most individuals making a pledge payment have received a reminder in the mail.

“From the person that prays, to the person that gives in large amounts, to the person that gives in small amounts…it has a lasting impression.”

Join the Miter Society

The Miter Society honors those who generously support the United Catholic Appeal with leadership gifts of $1,500 or more. Your commitment makes a profound difference, bringing the joy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people who might otherwise never experience it. Beyond your financial support, members are invited to uphold the Church’s ministries through faithful prayer and spiritual sacrifices. The benefits of membership are designed to enrich your own faith journey and empower you to share Christ’s love with others.

$1,500 or above | Étienne Phillibert Chapter
Members in this chapter are invited to attend invitation-only events like the Advance Commitment Gatherings. These events are a wonderful way to celebrate our Catholic faith with other faithful members. Members committing by December 31 will also receive recognition for their support in The Criterion.

$2,500 or above | Saint Theodora Guérin Chapter
In addition to the benefits listed above, members are invited to a special time of prayer. Often held at Fatima Retreat House, the time of prayer allows individuals to come away and rest in God.

$5,000 or above | Saint Francis Xavier Chapter
In addition to the benefits listed above, members are invited to share their faith with others through beautifully designed Novena cards. These are just a small way to provide the encouragement of prayer to others.

$10,000 or above | SS. Peter and Paul Chapter

In addition to the benefits listed above, members are gifted a book to help them focus on their personal journey of faith.

 $25,000 or above | Archbishop’s Chapter

Who is Blessed Carlo Acutis?
Carlo Acutis, who passed away at just 15 years old from leukemia, was a remarkable young man known for his deep faith and his extraordinary talent with technology. Often called the “patron saint of the Internet,” Carlo used his computer skills to create a website cataloging miracles and supported local Catholic ministries online. His dedication was a modern witness to the Gospel. When he was diagnosed with leukemia, he offered his suffering for Pope Benedict XVI and the Church, and expressed his love for St. Francis by choosing to be buried in Assisi. Declared Venerable in 2018, Carlo’s path to sainthood continues with verified miracles attributed to his intercession, including the life-saving healing of a Brazilian man in 2020.
